Raised in an Arts & Craft neighbourhood of Nottingham, I'm drawn to maximalist style, colourful textiles, stained glass and handcrafted items. My love for the craftsmanship of the early 1900s inspires much of my work. I am determined to prove calm & cosiness can be created with colour and pattern, it doesn't have to be beige.

Lost The Plot started during the pandemic, as I began to document finding my artistic style amidst global uncertainty. It truly came into what it is today in 2025, in another period of uncertainty after losing my job. Throughout my life, I've come back to art whenever I've felt lost, and its never let me down!

When the world feels unbearable and overwhelming, I focus on the only thing I can control - creating calm in my own corner of the world. The paintings available today are a product of this, and I hope my art can bring calm into others homes too.
